Litigation

Litigation can involve Court proceedings being brought by the State which is an area known as Criminal Law or Litigation being brought by you or against you which is called Civil Litigation.

In either case, you should have a Solicitor and we have over 25 years experience in helping people like you with all kinds of criminal and civil Litigation. We have been getting successful results for Clients in both types of litigation for the 25 year period in question.

In Criminal Litigation, we are registered under the Free Legal Aid Scheme and you may be entitled to free legal aid. Criminal litigation can extend from ordinary road traffic type offences like careless or dangerous driving, drunken driving, speeding or not wearing a safety belt, being ordinary Road Traffic type Offences, up to alleged Offences like Assault, Stealing, Offences involving Public Order Offences i.e. being drunk and disorderly in the street or having possession of Drugs.

Recently the Government has introduced the Personal Injuries Assessment Board [PIAB] which in effect means that almost all Claims arising from personal injuries must be brought before this Board before ever going to Court. We can help, and advise you how to process your Claim before the Board and advise you on any such settlement offer that the Board might make as to whether it is good enough or not. Likewise if you are unhappy with any award the Board may make, we will act on your behalf in bringing the matter before a Court.
